Currently, Gosia’s research interests center around social inequalities in health, the consequences of economic inequalities for health and well-being, and the intergenerational reproduction of inequalities. She is also curious about the consequences of the physical presence of others for people’s health and well-being.
Malgorzata (Gosia) is a sociologist specializing in quantitative analyses of survey data. After defending her Ph.D. thesis at the Graduate School for Social Research in Warsaw (Poland), she worked in Luxembourg (LISER), Belgium (Centre for Demographic Research, Université Catholique de Louvain), and Germany (Mannheim University). She has published on various topics, including interdependencies between employment and family decisions, health and well-being consequences of life course events, and well-being consequences of income and gender inequalities. She enjoys Belgian beer, bicycle rides, and sinking in collections of short stories.
